Let It Ride – Casino Game Overview

Let It Ride poker debuted in 1993 in land-based casinos, courtesy of Shuffle Master Inc, creators of automatic-shuffling machines. Unlike other games, Let It Ride doesn’t pit you against the dealer or other players. Instead, you can celebrate high cards dealt by the dealer, and uniquely, decrease or withdraw bets during the game. Played with cash chips of varying values, it offers a distinct experience compared to coin-based slot games.

How To Play Let It Ride

  • Check the Table: Familiarize yourself with the Let It Ride table, resembling a blackjack setup but with three betting circles, typically marked for $1 and $2 wagers.
  • Place Equal Bets: Start by betting the minimum on all three circles, say $5 each, totaling $15.
  • Deal and Choose: Receive three cards and view the dealer’s three cards (two facing down). You can retract a $5 bet if unsatisfied with your hand. The dealer reveals one facedown card, completing your hand to four cards.
  • Second Decision: Reevaluate your hand and withdraw the second $5 bet if needed. The final $5 bet remains in play.
  • Five-Card Hand Reveal: The dealer reveals the second facedown card, completing everyone’s five-card hands. A winning hand begins with a pair of 10s or better.
  • Side Bets: Optionally place $1 side bets for bonus payouts on specific hands in a separate circle, usually above the main betting circles.
