JERSEY CITY, NJ (February 9, 2021) LearnWPT, the World Poker Tour’s® flagship poker education partner, and partypoker US Network announced today the launch of a new educational program called  ‘For The Player,’ to elevate players’ skill levels through online training and online play. The organizations are long-time advocates for the wellbeing of the game and its players, and are often recognized for their partnerships and programming.

“LearnWPT is thrilled to work with partypoker US Network to bring the latest in educational poker content to its network of players,” said Nick Binger, LearnWPT Founder and President. “Alongside the most trusted, recognizable name in online poker, we will use ‘For The Player’ to continue to encourage all players to have fun while developing their skills and style of play – a goal since our 2016 launch.”

The new ‘For The Player’ program enables players to register to receive exclusive, free training centered on ring-fenced networks such as partypoker US Network in New Jersey, and more. Materials will be available through a series of newsletters and a dedicated blog that will feature LearnWPT content like ‘Strategy Episodes,’ ‘Poker Decision Hands,’ and the ‘WPT GTO Trainer Hand of the Week.’ Players will also have the opportunity to take part in live Team LearnWPT training with Andrew “LuckyChewy” Lichtenberger, Tony Dunst, Vanessa Selbst, Jared Tendler, and Nick Binger.

“’For The Player’ is partypoker US Network’s latest initiative supporting our players and the larger online poker community,” said Ray Stefanelli, Director of Poker, partypoker US Network. “Last month, with the World Poker Tour, we offered players an incredible $1 million guaranteed WPT® Online Poker Open Main Event. Now, through this partnership with LearnWPT, we’ll help players strengthen their play and foster their passion for the game.”

Through ‘For The Player,’ LearnWPT and partypoker US Network will also provide players ample opportunity to test their abilities and new strategies through online play and against members of Team LearnWPT. The first of these opportunities comes on Sunday, February 21 through the LearnWPT Progressive Knockout (“PKO”) Bounty event powered by partypoker US Network. This featured event is part of the partypoker US Network Progressive Knockout Bounty Online Series, which runs from February 21 – 28. It will feature realtime, in-depth analysis and review of key hands from Team LearnWPT across both brand’s social channels.

Only partypoker US Network registered players physically located in New Jersey will be able to play in the partypoker US Network Progressive Knockout Bounty Online Series and LearnWPT PKO Bounty event, but the ‘For The Player’ materials will be available anywhere in the United States.
