There are all sorts of superstitions that come with playing online casino games. You could be one of those people who have horseshoes hanging around the house or a random rabbit’s foot in a closet somewhere. While we can’t stake our reputation on whether lucky charms help or not, the one thing that we are massive fans of is lucky plants.

Why? Well, plants are a wonderful addition to any home: they help purify the air, they look excellent, and well, if they are lucky then that’s just the cherry on top.

So, here are the top plants to consider for your home which could be the help that you need the next time you play casino games.

Jade Plant

The jade plant should definitely be a consideration for your home if you enjoy casino table games. This plant is also known as the “money plant” and it is a particularly undemanding indoor plant that doesn’t need much attention. Direct or full sunlight is ideal for it to flourish, and it only needs to be watered once a week. Note that this plant needs moist soil but won’t enjoy being overwatered.

The green, succulent leaves are said to resemble jade stones, which are known as symbols of wealth and prosperity in many cultures.

Money Trees

If it’s fortune, prosperity and wealth that you’re after, then you should invest in a money tree before you play your next blackjack online casino game. The one thing to keep in mind is that many Feng Shui experts say that you should not put the tree in your bathroom because its good positive energy will simply be flushed or drained away.

This tree grows best in bright, indirect sunlight and should only be watered when the top couple of inches of the soil are dry.

Lucky Bamboo

Probably the most famous lucky plant of them all, lucky bamboo is synonymous with bringing luck to the home. In fact, it’s not a real bamboo plant at all and is actually part of the Dracaena plant family. Originating in South East Asia, the plant is thought to bring good fortune to those who keep it. This is a relatively fuss-free plant too, and it requires moderate or indirect sunlight and the soil needs to be slightly damp. Lucky bamboo is bound to thrive in a good indoor environment.

Rubber Plant

The round leaves of the rubber plant are said to be symbolic of money and prosperity in Feng Shui. They are renowned for austerity and auspiciousness in some cultures, and when placed in a home, they foster abundance and good fortune. This plant prefers bright, indirect light and slightly moist soil.

Dwarf Umbrella Trees

Umbrella trees are treasured in China and are one of the most commonly used plants in Feng Shui design. The finger-like leaves of the plant are believed to capture positive energy, and bring good fortune and wealth to residents in the home. These plants like filtered, indirect sunlight and should only be watered once the top few inches of soil become dry. They also benefit from a wipe with a damp cloth on their leaves every once in a while.

Orchids

The large blooms and vibrant colors of orchids undoubtedly make them the most beautiful of the lucky plants. These plants are mainly thought to bring luck and prosperity to the family, rather than on a purely individual basis. They also are believed to promote relationship harmony. Orchids love bright, indirect light and, contrary to popular belief, they’re actually super-easy to look after and only need you to place a couple of ice blocks a week on their soil.

Peace Lily

According to the Feng Shui practice, peace lilies signal that good fortune and luck are on the horizon for those that have them in their home. The brilliant white flowers and beautiful green leaves will brighten up any room and will be an excellent investment before you play live dealer casino games. Peace lilies are fans of filtered light or partial shade, and need to be watered once or twice a week to keep the soil moist (so they’re pretty low-maintenance, too.)

Parlor Palms

If you haven’t heard of a parlor palm, you might have heard of it being called a dwarf palm, a fishtail palm, or a good luck palm. This is another auspicious Feng Shui addition. It is known for its air-purifying properties, as well as bringing balance and abundance to a household. Bright, indirect sunlight is the name of the game for this plant, and you only need to water it when the top of the soil starts to become dry.
